What shall I do if my pet is stolen ?

You can report a stolen pet by contacting the Police and the dog warden(if a dog stolen) . Register on LOSTSTOLEN DOG.COM AND ALSO DOGLOST.CO.UK .Contact MUDDY PAWS CRIME for advice/support. Put a post in local community social media groups. Check any cctv/ring doorbells and do a door to door to check if any witnesses . Each case may be given different advice depending on circumstances . Contact the microchip company and put a missing alert on the microchip AND UPGRADE TO STOLEN UPON RECEIPT OF A CRIME NUMBER FROM POLICE .Please double check all your details are uptodate. Contact local vets and rescues to make them aware .
